 es\, mineral mining supply chains are increasingly exposed to physical cli
 mate risks\, as well as growing scrutiny on environmental and social impac
 ts such as deforestation and biodiversity loss. For investors\, understand
 ing where risks materialise\, and where activities should not take place a
 t all\, is becoming ever more important.\n\nDuring this session\, we will 
 bring together two expert perspectives:\nRainforest Foundation Norway\nRai
 nforest Foundation Norway will present its upcoming “Restricted Areas Of
 f-Limits” policy brief and global mapping tool. This work identifies are
 as on land and at sea that should be considered off-limits to mining under
  any circumstances.\n\nThe session will introduce an indicative global map
  designed to help investors and industry actors identify restricted areas\
 , assess exposure to high-risk locations\, and better understand where min
 ing pressures may occur and where urgent intervention is needed.\nTMP\nTMP
  will provide an overview of how physical climate risks are affecting crit
 ical mineral assets and supply chains\, and why these risks are becoming i
 ncreasingly financially material.\n\nDrawing on high-resolution climate da
 ta and case studies from key producing regions\, TMP will demonstrate how 
 risks such as flooding\, heat and water stress interact with operational c
 hallenges\, environmental impacts and social dynamics. The session will al
 so highlight how investors can better integrate these risks into decision-
 making and identify opportunities to mitigate them.\n\nWe hope this sessio
 n will provide valuable insights into how investors can better navigate th
 e intersection of climate risks\, supply chain resilience\, and responsibl
