Triodos Investment Management has appointed Erik Breen as Director SRI as per 1 January 2018. The appointment follows Triodos IM’s more intensified focus on its SRI proposition, which is for instance visible in the insourcing of the asset management activities for the four Triodos SRI funds and the discretionary portfolios of Triodos Bank Private Banking in the Netherlands. Erik Breen, who was already responsible for the four Triodos SRI funds, is now responsible for the entire business line SRI within Triodos IM.
Erik Breen: “Triodos IM has been active in Socially Responsible Investing already since the ‘90s and has since strongly contributed to SRI becoming widely accepted in the investment industry. We are now taking a next step in our SRI proposition by insourcing the asset management and, by doing so, implementing full integration of the financial and sustainable analyses.
