SRI funds ‘not investing in climate change solutions’

Socially responsible investment (SRI) and ethical funds are often failing to invest in companies that tackle climate change, according to a report by Holden & Partners.

The independent financial advisor (IFA) assessed the top 10 holdings of all the SRI, ethical and environmental funds open to private investors in the UK. It cautions that few SRI or ethical funds invest heavily in companies specifically focused on tackling environmental problems such as climate change.
